Depth of Experience, Breadth of Practice
Two of our attorneys have more than 30 years of experience each. Mr. John C. Tally and Ms. Mary Ann Tally - husband and wife - have both practiced law in North Carolina since 1974. Mr. Tally practices primarily estate planning and real estate law, and he is known in Fayetteville's legal community as an established and competent attorney for clients to turn to when they need a will or are involved with a complex real estate closing. Ms. Tally's practice is limited exclusively to major criminal defense cases. In 2006, the Tallys' son - Mr. Lockett Tally - joined the practice. The younger Mr. Tally represents clients in misdemeanor criminal defense cases and handles commercial and residential real estate transactions and litigation alongside his father.
Our attorneys' decades of experience in different areas of law means that we are able to provide Cumberland County and surrounding areas with a convenient, full-service law firm that they can turn to for legal advice and assistance throughout their lives. In criminal defense matters, we handle everything from speeding tickets through capital crimes. Our real estate practice focuses on residential and commercial closings. We also handle some real estate litigation, mostly centered around boundary disputes. We guide clients through a range of estate planning matters, including writing simple wills, trusts and guardianships, probating estates, modifying wills, and will contests. Our personal injury clients tend to come to us with injuries from car wrecks or slip-and-fall accidents. We occasionally represent a surviving family member in a wrongful death claim.
